Peanut Butter Prune Cake recipe
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups of flour.
1 cup of sugar.
1 ¾ teaspoons of baking powder.
½ teaspoon of salt.
¾ cup of pitted prunes.
1 tablespoon of orange peel, grated.
¾ cup of milk.
1/3 cup of chunky peanut butter.
2 large eggs.
2 tablespoons of confectioners' sugar.
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
Add the flour, baking powder and salt into an ungreased 8-inch square pan, stirring with a fork to mix.
Stir in the prunes and grated orange peel.
Add the milk, peanut butter and eggs; stir until blended.
Using a rubber spatula, scrape any ingredients clinging to sides, corners and bottom of pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool in pan on a rack.
Just before serving, dust with the confectioners' sugar.
